AUDREY’S DREAM COMES TRUE!

We were delighted to welcome 100-year-old Audrey to our session on 17th October. One of Audrey’s bucket list wishes for her hundredth birthday was to sit in the saddle again and re-live her riding days from the past. With the support of her family, RDA volunteers and her care home, Skylark House in Horsham, we were able to make her dream come true. Audrey mounted Toffee with confidence and enthusiasm and managed several laps of the school with straight back, a perfect riding position and a beaming smile on her face, recounting tales of her youth as she went. This was a truly memorable event for all concerned!
