SOUTH DOWNS BAKE OFF 

We enjoyed our final session for the summer term last week and ended on a high note with our riders baking cakes! They had to purchase all the ingredients from our very cheery shopkeeper and even collect fresh eggs from our very own lively but friendly chicken!!

We were delighted to be joined by Linda, who is currently undergoing treatment for secondary breast cancer. She hasn’t ridden for sometime but we knew we could rely on Beau to take care of her, she said:
‘Just to thank you all again for my amazing ride on dear Beau yesterday. The experience really lifted my spirits and everybody was so helpful. Beau was such a handsome boy even though I was not expecting his trot to be quite so bouncy!’ 

The morning session was rounded off with the presentation of rosettes.

Thank you to all our wonderful ponies, volunteers and riders for another very successful year. We look forward to getting back in the saddle in September.
